Information we collect
When you participate, we receive your mobile number, SMS messages and replies, opt-in and opt-out records, timestamps, and delivery information. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you provide. Clara stores test enrollment, consent, routine snapshots, and message activity to support the connected test. Smith's Pixels has not added advertising trackers or analytics. Our hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site.
How we use information
We use tester information to document consent, send the test messages you requested, process replies and unsubscribe requests, troubleshoot delivery, and respond to support requests. Test scenarios use fictional appointments and tasks. Please do not submit medical or patient information.
Service providers and sharing
Twilio and telecommunications carriers process SMS data to deliver messages and manage delivery and opt-out controls. Our website and email providers process information needed to host these pages and handle support. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect the service.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention and your choices
We retain test records only as needed for testing, troubleshooting, consent records, and applicable obligations. Provider logs and backups may have separate retention periods. Reply STOP to stop test messages. You may email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control. We may retain minimal suppression or consent records to honor your preferences and obligations.
Security and intended participants
Access to test records is limited to operation and support of this test. SMS is not a secure channel for sensitive information. The program is intended for invited adults aged 18 or older, not children or patients receiving clinical care.
